vapour | LL PT. 2

[Seconds later there will be a knock at Disorder's door]

[ opens door, only still in his jeans (they're jean sweatpants) ]

Hey! My door's open feel free to setup however you like. I'm gonna be real quick in the shower, okay?

[Nods, giving Sam a once over before stepping inside and heading for his room, guitar and a notebook in tow. Jewel is dressed surprisingly simply today in a plain white tshirt and jeans.]

Aye aye~

[ he's about to say something but changes his mind, instead returning the once over to Jewel before heading off to the shower. Jewel will be greeted by Sherlock and Watson. ]

[Chews on his bottom lip, considering as he watches Sam go...before he sets his things down on the bed, turning his attention to greeting Sherlock and Watson with plenty of affection]

[ they're so happy!

Sam comes back within ten minutes, a towel wrapped around his waist and closes the door a little quickly. ]

Okay, so... can you help with me something before I get dressed?

[Glances back when he hears Sam's voice, giving a little wolf whistle of appreciation]

Sure, what did you need?

[ he blinks owlishly at the whistle before seeming to take the hint and snickers a little as he approaches Jewel, going to undo the towel around his waist. ]

[ He'll turn sideways though as he drops the towel to show his backside to Jewel rather than his front, and there are now three long, extremely fluffy and elegant fox tails that have materialized. If Jewel looks up, Sam's even sporting some fox ears now, too. ]

Yeah, soooOOoo... can you brush these things for me...? I can't do it really well myself at the base. They also move on their own, and I'm tired of getting hit in the face while trying.

[ weird that he suddenly has fox spirit traits. ]

I feel like I should have noticed these sooner.

I don't think I had them until at least the day after that sacrifice performance. That's when I first saw them, anyway. Thankfully the power was out so I had plenty of time to figure out how to get them to go away.

But how...

[Does start looking around for a brush though]

Dunno... but, I did lose my weapon forging Blessing. Maybe it's some weird new Blessing replacement if that's a thing.

[Gets up, puttering around the room to hunt a brush down]

You must be pretty upset about losing that one, hmm?

[ there should be a brush on top of the dresser.

He sighs heavily at that. ]

Yeah. Sucks.

[ sits on the bed, fox ears drooping a bit in his disappointment. ]

[There's a small cheer when he finds the brush, turning to wave the brush at Sam but pause ing when he sees the ears droop…smiling a bit before coming over to climb onto the bed behind Sam, the mattress dipping under his weight as he crawls closer]

I don’t know. I think there are some perks to it.

You think?

[ his three tails sway, one going to brush up against Jewel's face once he's close enough, but it seems to not be a conscious thing that Sam can control like he can his ears. He'll glance over his shoulder at Jewel with a small tilt of his head. ]

Mhmm~

[Starts in on carefully brushing the first tail]

If I tell you why though, you might pout more.

[ the fox tail seems to react really positively to the brushing, swishing gently against Jewel ever chance it gets while being brushed. Sam watches it like he's not sure if he should be jealous of his own tail or not. His ears lift and perk forward a bit. ]

I wanna hear, though. I won't pout more.

[ he probably will. ]

[Pauses in the brushing for a moment to pet the tail, enjoying how soft the fur is before resuming slow, gentle passes of the brush]

It seems as though they might be the most honest parts of you.

[ o.

o he sees ]

...Traitorous appendages.

Hey now, honesty is a virtue. You should praise them instead.

[ the two free tails sway a little bit faster as he huffs. ]

I'm not saying I want to lie, instead, but... it just feels so exposing.

...It's fine if it's with you, though.

[ And why he asked Jewel to help brush the tails in the first place. ]

The least I could get out of this honesty is something cool, though. I don't think this Blessing does anything else.

It’s fine with me, huh?

[Hugs onto all three tails with a laugh]

If you ask me, it looks pretty cute. That makes it a pretty great Blessing in my book.

[ omg.

he didn't expect it to feel good when his tails get hugged like that. they're more sensitive than he realized. ]
