What's there to be intimidated by? It's just me.

It's silly. I just worry about getting caught up in it too much and being a problem for you down the line. You spoil me so much.

I hate to break it to you....but I would be a bigger problem for you than you would be for me. In case you haven't noticed, I'm basically untouchable.

[Drags his nails down Sam's chest, catching a nipple, before running them along his abs]

Between the portals, illusions and shields....I'm pretty hard to hurt these days.

[ Jewel brings up a pretty good point, actually. Sam's breath hitches at that nail catching on sensitive flesh though, briefly wondering if he should just leave it at that. ]

...I don't mean physically, though. I'm worried about being a problem for you emotionally. You're too nice to me, I think... I'm always worried one day you're going to cave to my feelings because you feel bad. I'm pretty sure you won't, but the thought worries me because even if you don't cave, how burdensome do I become while you try not to hurt my feelings? You're important so I don't want to cause that for you, but I'm selfish and can't help that sometimes.

[ runs a thumb gently along Jewel's cheek. ]

You give me too much credit... I'm not that nice or that selfless.

[Turns his head so he can take Sam's thumb in his mouth, biting down on it with just enough pressure to leave the indent of his teeth against the skin]

... In this situation, I hope so. Can you promise me it?

[ presses his thumb against Jewel's teeth now to add far more pressure that it could potentially break skin, but unlikely since he only presses rather than scrapes, too. ]

[Don't mind him. Just biting down hard enough to draw blood.]

[ test passed.

Sam doesn't even flinch, but he seems relatively pleased with the decision. ]

[Presses a kiss to the spot he just bit]

[ rubs his thumb gently along the seam of Jewel's lips. ]

You're most beautiful when you're raw. You'll always be able to leave your glitz and glamour at the door with me.

Beautiful when I'm raw...? That's quite a romantic way to put it.

[ going to bring his hands back to Jewel's cheeks, gentle, and his smile is very affectionate. He doesn't try to avoid answering, either. ]

It's not really fair to dislike or like a side of you that's all an act.
