Mmmm…it’s a little confusing because he said he would understand if we turned around and wouldn’t hold it against us. But we did everything we could to make sure we didn’t need to turn around. I guess he took all the questioning personally…when we were just trying to be sure. Because we didn’t want to turn around. And now I’m worried it will cause problems between us and Forge.
I don't see any need for them to take sides. And Lithium might just need to calm down, most people aren't okay when they think they're going to die unexpectedly. Go talk to Nick.
Because they’re good people. I’m close to two of them and I work with one of them. Gray has a thing for one of them too. And the others have all been kind.
Exactly. You know them better than I do, but generally the Alchemists are not a Family that the Atmospheres consider particularly dishonest, and they are notoriously anything but passive aggressive.
Perhaps consider an alternative method next time with Forge. What good is it for you two Families to be allies if you can't trust each other to want the best for both members of each Family?
I guess I don't mean it officially, but you are basically allies through organic relationships, then. You should be able to trust each other in performances or any other hell they put us through.
Some of us don’t really know each other well though. I don’t know how Cirrus operates, but just because I trust Rose with my life doesn’t mean I would trust Copper whom I have just met to nearly the same degree just because they share a family. And, on the flip side, I wouldn’t expect anyone to trust me just because Mercury does.

Isn't it loud over there because Forge is there, too?

[Reaches up to play with the ends of Sam’s hair]
I wouldn’t say it was anything formal. We just enjoy each other’s company and have a fair number of people we each now on both teams.

You still haven’t answered me about how you’re holding up.
