[Uses the grip on his hair to force Sam to lay back and drop them both through another portal, taking the blankets with them. Which.....since Sam is looking up, he'll be looking up directly at the sky from the uppermost level of the deck they can access, the moon is still out, but by this point it's probably about 3 am.]

[ sounds like a small purr from his throat at those hands in his hair again.

he relents rather easily to Jewel's own actions and—

oh. This is gorgeous, actually. Sam blinks, eyes wide. He won't move beyond blindly gathering Jewel more into his arms so he can hold him closer and handle getting to somewhat fix the blankets a little bit considering how late it is and they're half naked outside on the open sea so he wants them both snuggly comfy...! ]

[Gets comfortable under the blanket, pressing closer for warmth]

Since we weren't watching the movie anyways, I figured this was a better view.

...I haven't been outside to look at the stars here since we got back. I forgot how nice it is without the light pollution in the city.

It sounded like you had just been holing up in your room writing at night.

Yeah, I had some important deadlines... Although I'm trying to be more hands on with my writing and any derivative works, I'm not good at navigating these things. They catch me on a lot of technicalities that kind of give me no choice but to play by their rules unless I want to let them run amok.

Ah.....should I have let you work....

Nah, I finished yesterday. Tonight, I was just tossing drafts of other stuff around that no one has their hands on yet.

And even if not, this has been too special to pass up.
