Don't do it for me. Do it for yourself. One day, you're gonna find someone to adore, love, and-or fall in love with; but they will not only not feel the same, they won't believe you could possibly be telling the truth. You have only been on one side of the spectrum, but you might be hurt by this if you are on the other end of it. But, if you yourself can't believe others when they do this to you, you have no right to be hurt by it.

I like you, I think you deserve good things in life. I don't want you to miss out on them by struggling with basic things such as being likeable.

Most people give up. That's partly why I can say I adore you and don't need you returning things right back at me on the same level. I am happy to wait for someone like you if you ever reach those levels. And if you don't, that's fine too, because I don't feel this way just so I can feel it in return. I just want you to know that your efforts aren't in vain.
