[ motions for Jewel to come over closer to him with his dart. ]

What're you afraid of, then?

[Walks over, drink in one hand and dart in the other]

Being more work than I'm worth, I guess...

[ shifts so he can pull Jewel in front of him, one hand on his waist while the other goes over the hand holding the dart. Just going to gently tweak his fingers and the rest of his arm, feeling along the muscles to make sure the proper ones are relaxed and the others are taut.

He will lean in to ask quietly against his ear even as he takes hold of Jewel's hand to pull it back into position for him to throw when he's ready (and Sam'll let go, so Jewel can do so on his own accord.) ]

Don't you ever get tired of that fear and just wish you could break free of it?

[Allows his body to be maneuvered into position]

Of course I do. Even I get tired... Especially I get tired....

[Tosses the dart, hitting the center of the board]

Afterall, I have to deal with me more than anyone else does.

[ hums in satisfaction as the dart embeds itself, punctuating his words with that same sentiment. ]

Very nice. Progress is as progress does.

I pretty much hit the point of tired where I have to do something about it.

[ grabs Jewel's chin tilting his head back a bit to make sure they're looking at each other, a soft laugh accompanying a smirk. ]

Oya, don't be dramatic. We don't know each other well enough for me to make that call. If the thought still somehow lights a fire under your ass for the change you want, though, I'll make the effort even for a 'B-B' like you.

Then again, you have many people in your life chasing you and wanting to be a part of it already. I'm sure their opinions on these things will do so much more for you.

[ lets go of him to go back to his drink. ] Or maybe not. Who knows what you're into.

[Frowns, looking over his face again]

[ just. smiles. ]

[Grabs another dart, lining up the throw]

[ sips his drink, watching with a little interest. ] Basic bitch.

…haha! Well, I was made to be marketable, not interesting. Too unique or too much substance kind of narrows my appeal, you know~!

[Tosses the dart for another bull’s eye before sipping his drink]

[ whistles. ] You learn fast, I'll give you that. Or you didn't need to learn at all.

Oh, I'm sure you're interesting. Lots of people must think so, you're popular, so you have to have something to you beyond a pretty face. You're just not to me beyond he likes you for some reason. Enough that I can't really do anything to you other than insult you a little.

[Slides out of his chair, raising his glass]

[ raises his glass. ]

I won't give you that much credit by agreeing with you, but if you're stubborn enough to stick around ... I recommend you try thinking a little more highly of yourself.

[Finishes his glass and sets it on the bar top]

[ looks at his drink a moment before finishing it and putting it down on the bar, too. ]

Hope you are able to get some sleep.

[Heads for the entrance of the lounge]

Oh, so you're easier to get rid of than I thought, afterall.

I've been asleep far too long, you need it more than I do. Hope for yourself.
